Best wishes to the crew(s) of HMS Oppossum(s). My late father, William Windler from Lydiate, near Liverpool, England, served aboard F33 in 1956/57. My Dad spoke often of his days in the Royal Navy and the parts of the world he visited. He especially spoke very fondly of his time aboard HMS Oppossum. Gents, thank you for your service, it really did make a difference.

As a leading hand of the for'd messdeck when 'Opossem' was taken out of reserve at Chatham and sailed for 'Singers', A keen photographer and remember being taken to a 'snake temple' by Sam Short to take the snapshot of him with a snake as a necklace... brave fellow that he was!
